Legal imagination for the EU climate future

We close the thematic chapter on “Future-proofing Europe”  this week with a carte blanche by Chiara Armeni, Professor of environmental law and Director of the Centre de droit européen (CDE), ULB.

In her article Professor Armeni questions whether current EU assumptions about growth, innovation, and justice are compatible with the complex reality of climate change. She proposes expanding legal imagination to address climate challenges more effectively. This contribution sends an invitation for the EU to embrace legal imagination, create new links, and ask difficult questions to shape a better climate future.
