New visiting researcher
The IEE-ULB welcomes Dr. Carmen Cristófol Rodríguez, Professor at the Department of Audiovisual Communication (Faculty of Communication) at the University of Málaga.
She holds PhD in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising (2010) and MA degree in Advertising and Public relations (2003) from the University of Málaga.
Dr. Carmen Cristófol Rodríguez will be at the IEE-ULB from March 2023 to June 2023. Professor François Heindryckx will supervise her research stay.
Her research at the IEE-ULB
The title of Dr. Carmen Cristófol Rodriguez’s research project is “Sustainability in the European Fashion Sector”. The goal of the research is to analyze the institutional commitment to sustainability of the main companies and to study the construction of audiovisual narrative around it.
During her research stay, Dr. Carmen Cristófol Rodríguez’s research will focus the regulatory framework of sustainability of the European Fashion Sector and on the development of the theoretical and methodological framework required for the content analysis of the regulation under study.
How to become a visiting researcher at the IEE-ULB
The IEE-ULB regularly welcomes visiting researchers whose work focuses on its main lines of research.
Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications which must contain: an up-to-date CV, a research project highlighting the link to one or several of the IEE’s four research themes, the proposed research period, and the name of the IEE-affiliated professor who has agreed to act as the researcher’s supervisor.

Decisions on visiting research applications are taken by the Council of the IEE, which gathers five times per year. For the 2022-2023 academic year, the remaining date is August 22nd. .
